1. Product Description

The PLC automation control system obtains various preset values, control commands, and parameters from the computer network, and performs control according to the optimal power curve to achieve automation of the smelting process. The system adopts a control scheme integrating a computer control system, electrical drive system, and automation instrumentation.

The system's main signals, including measurement signals, alarm signals, and control signals, are centrally collected and processed by the PLC. The system supports three control modes: manual control, automatic control, and local on-site operation. It can also transmit data to the host computer system to perform functions such as report printing and data storage, thereby ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and advanced performance of the system.

The PLC system adopts the Siemens S7-1500 series. The host computer uses Siemens WINCC monitoring software as the human-machine interface (HMI). Various monitoring screens are developed according to production process requirements, providing operators with a reliable and efficient human-machine interface and greatly improving the control and management level of the electric furnace system.

The system consists of computer workstation-based control and monitoring systems for the electric furnace control system (including the material distribution system), batching system, circulating water system, and dedusting system, etc.

  • Real-time monitored data: All electrical data of the electrical system, including voltage, current, and electric power consumption, etc;
  • Measurement and conveying monitoring of the raw material system;
  • Cooling water pressure and temperature of the electric furnace (excluding water pump station);
  • Computer-based data acquisition and processing of major monitoring data.
  • Production lines with strong continuity requirements, such as electric furnaces and raw material systems, are controlled by PLC systems.
