1. Product Description

The electrode slipping system consists of upper and lower band type clamping brakes, slipping cylinders, and related components. The electrode slipping device adopts a hydraulic-mechanical double-brake ring clamping structure. When clamping the electrode, the holding force is provided by four (or six) sets of combined disc springs arranged radially around the brake ring, ensuring that the electrode will not slip even in the event of a hydraulic system failure.

The electrode is released by using hydraulic pressure to overcome the spring force. Electrode slipping and lifting are achieved by three lifting cylinders installed between the upper and lower brake rings. When electrode lifting or slipping is required, the three lifting cylinders move the upper brake ring relative to the lower brake ring according to a predetermined operating sequence, thereby accomplishing the lifting or slipping of the electrode.

The maximum stroke of the slipping cylinders is 120mm, and the slipping length for each operation can be adjusted between 20mm and 100mm by changing the position of the limit blocks according to process requirements.

The electrode slipping system should be equipped with automatic control while also allowing manual operation. The lifting and slipping of the electrodes are controlled by a hydraulic power unit. The hydraulic power unit uses water-glycol hydraulic fluid as its working medium.

After completion of the design, fully automated laser cutting of raw materials, machining, assembly welding, pre-assembly, and multi-level production quality inspections are carried out.

2. Quality Control

A "7 Inspections and 1 Certificate" management system is adopted, including incoming raw material inspection, machined component inspection, welding process inspection, ultrasonic flaw detection inspection, pre-assembly inspection, pressure testing, and export packaging inspection. After completion of all inspections, a product qualification certificate is issued.
