1. Product Description

The transformer outlet terminals of the submerged arc furnace are connected to the bus tubes through flexible compensators and secured with stainless steel clamps. The flexible compensators are available in either water-cooled copper tube type or flexible copper busbar type. The flexible

connectors are also known as electric furnace flexible compensators. They are a key component of the furnace power-conducting system, compensating for installation deviations between the transformer and the bus tubes while absorbing vibrations generated during transformer operation.

The conductive tubes of the submerged arc furnace body are connected to the bus tubes by water-cooled cables. The flexible conductors feature a hollow water-cooling design, with an outer rubber hose capable of withstanding a working water pressure of P ≥ 0.6 MPa. The flexible conductors are cold-crimped and securely fastened to the electrode conductive tubes, ensuring that there is no cooling water leakage at the connection points. While transmitting high currents, the cables provide self-cooling and effectively absorb vibrations generated by both the furnace body and the bus tubes during operation.

After the design is completed, the production process includes: fully automatic laser cutting of raw materials, machining, assembly and welding, pre-assembly, and multi-level production quality inspections.

2. Quality Control

A "7 inspections + 1 certification" quality management system is adopted, including: incoming raw material inspection, machined component inspection, welding process inspection, ultrasonic flaw detection, pre-assembly inspection, pressure testing, export packaging inspection. After completion of all inspections, a product quality certificate is issued.
