1. Product Description

Bellows pressure rings are usually made of high-strength materials such as stainless steel, copper alloy, or titanium alloy, with an internal corrugated structure. In submerged arc furnaces, they are used to tightly secure the copper contact shoes. The pressure ring consists of two semicircular sections and incorporates a complex internal water-cooling channel design for cooling purposes.

In addition, combined copper bellows pressure rings are available. These are manufactured using casting technology, which eliminates welding stress and enables long service life, maintenance-free operation, and reliable performance.

The bellows pressure ring controls the hydraulic cylinders of the pressure ring. Three groups of valves are used for separate control. During operation, the hydraulic cylinders remain in a continuously extended state, with an operating pressure of 4–5 MPa, adjustable as required. Pressure sensors are installed at the outlet, and an alarm signal is triggered when the pressure falls below 3.5 MPa.

1. Production Process

After the design is completed, the production process includes:fully automatic laser cutting of raw materials, machining, assembly and welding, pre-assembly, and multi-level production quality inspections.

2. Quality Control

A "7 inspections + 1 certification" quality management system is adopted, including: incoming raw material inspection, machined component inspection, welding process inspection, ultrasonic flaw detection, pre-assembly inspection, pressure testing, export packaging inspection. After completion of all inspections, a product quality certificate is issued.
