1. Product Description
The closed furnace cover is used to enclose the furnace chamber, reduce heat loss, improve working conditions in the smelting area, and collect furnace gas generated during the smelting process. Water-cooled closed furnace roofs are commonly used in calcium carbide furnaces, manganese alloy electric furnaces, and nickel alloy electric furnaces.

Structure and Composition
The furnace cover consists of peripheral cover panels and one central cover panel. The central cover plate is made of non-magnetic stainless steel (06Cr18Ni11Ti), while the peripheral cover plates are welded from boiler steel plates (Q245R). Each furnace cover segment adopts a water-cooled structure, and the lower fire-facing surface is fully lined with refractory and thermal insulation materials.
The furnace roof is equipped with feed pipe openings, electrode openings, maintenance openings, chimney openings, and safety explosion-relief valves. Electrode sealing and guiding devices are also installed on the furnace cover. The furnace doors are provided with automatic opening devices, with pneumatic actuators preferred. The furnace cover structure is designed for convenient maintenance and emergency handling, reducing the risks associated with manual opening and closing of furnace doors while improving equipment automation.
New insulating structures are installed between the furnace cover and furnace body, between adjacent furnace cover segments, between the water-cooled sealing components and feed nozzles, as well as between the feeding ports and discharge nozzles, thereby improving equipment service life.
The furnace cover is equipped with temperature monitoring instruments for temperature detection. Furnace pressure monitoring is achieved through micro differential pressure transmitters to measure internal furnace pressure and enable interlocking control.

Quality Control
After welding of each sector segment of the furnace cover, hydrostatic pressure testing is carried out at a test pressure of 0.6MPa with a pressure holding time of 30 minutes. No leakage is permitted at any welded joint. Weld quality shall comply with JB/1152-81 Class II requirements.
A "7 Inspections and 1 Certificate" management system is adopted, including incoming raw material inspection, machined component inspection, welding process inspection, ultrasonic flaw detection inspection, pre-assembly inspection, pressure testing, and export packaging inspection. After completion of all inspections, a product qualification certificate is issued.
